Jan 11, 2021

People often perceive a healthy diet with plenty of protein as insipid. You can stay healthy, consume plenty of protein, and still have great flavor within your diet.

Description

An easy and nutritious oatmeal, fruits, and milk meal with instructions for daily consumption.

Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 3 tbsp of oatmeal
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • 1 or less cup of milk

Instructions

  1. Add oats, strawberries, and a banana on a normal-sized plate.
  2. Season it with 1 tbsp of sugar, pour your cup of milk, then start mixing
  3. Your meal is ready when the oats have soaked up most of the liquid and are creamy. Then add your favorite toppings.

Notes

  • NOTE: Regarding sugar: 33.4g total. We calculated all the natural and added sugars, which is why it sounds like a lot. Sugar in fruit and added sugar are not the same thing. But for most people, consuming natural sugars in foods such as fruit is not linked to negative health effects, since the amount of sugar tends to be modest and is "packaged" with fiber and other healthful nutrients.
  • NOTE: Limit saturated fats to less than 7% of your total daily calories. For a 2,000 calorie diet, that is 140 to 200 calories or 16 to 22 grams (g) of saturated fats a day.
  • NOTE: Anything under 100–150 grams per day is generally considered low-carb.
